Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (POs) in State Bank of India. The selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India. The details of the essential qualification, number of vacancies, age limit and fee structure are given below:-

Minimum Essential Qualification:- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2023.
Age Limit:- The candidate must be between 21 and 30 years of age as on 01-04-2023, i.e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-04-1993 and not later than 01-04-2002. (Age relaxation as per rules)
Selection Procedure:- 3 phases – PRELIMS, MAINS & PSYCHOMETRIC TEST

GUIDELINES FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION:
Candidates will be required to register themselves online through Bank’s ‘Career’ website https://bank.sbi/careers/current-openings. After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking.
a. REGISTRATION & PAYMENT OF FEES [Online Mode Only]:
i. First scan the photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression and hand-written declaration as detailed under the guidelines given in Annexure-II.
ii. The text for the hand-written declaration is as follows:
“I______(Name of the candidate), _______(Date of Birth) hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left-hand thumb impression is of mine”.
b. GUIDELINES FOR SCANNING THE PHOTOGRAPH, SIGNATURE, LEFT-HAND THUMB IMPRESSION AND HAND-WRITTEN DECLARATION
Before applying online, a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/ her photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression and hand-written declaration as per the specifications given in Annexure-II. Online application will not be registered unless candidates upload photo, signature, left-hand thumb impression and hand-written declaration as specified.
