Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Recruitment-2023

The Staff Selection Commission on Wednesday released a notification for SSC MTS, Havaldar 2022 exam. Candidates who are interested can check the Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) and Havaldar in CBIC & CBN Examination, 2022 notification on the official website – ssc.nic.in.

Age Limit (As on 01-01-2023):

  • The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:
    • 18-25 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.01.1998 and not later than 01.01.2005) for MTS and Havaldar in  CBN  (Department of Revenue).
    • 18-27 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.01.1996 and not later than 01.01.2005) for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and few posts of MTS.

Essential Educational Qualifications (As on 17-02-2023):

  • The candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board as on or before the cut-off date i.e. 17-02-2023.

Application Fee:

  • Fee payable: Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
  • Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex- servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

  • Computer Based Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The questions will be set in English, Hindi, and in 13 regional languages (as per details in Annexure-XV) for Session-I and the General Awareness Section of Session-II.

Physical Standard Test (PST): The minimum physical standards for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN are as follows:

SSC MTS Details for female
  • PET/ PST will be conducted by CBIC/ CBN at various centres finalized by them. The candidates may be called for PET/ PST to any centre across the country.
