The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the notification for the Combined Graduate Level Examination ( SSC CGL 2024). Eligible and interested candidates can visit the official website- ssc.gov.in and register for the exam.
This year, the recruitment drive will fill approximately a total of 17727 vacancies in Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different ministries, departments, and organizations of Government of India and various other statutory bodies. As per the schedule, the application deadline is till 24 July.

Age limit (As on 01-08-2024):
Requirement of age for various posts is as 18 year to 32 Year.
Permissible relaxation in upper age limit and category-codes for claiming age relaxation as per Govt. rule
Essential Educational Qualifications (As on 01-08-2024):
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Application Fee:
Fee payable: ₹100/- (Rs one hundred only).
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC),
Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Exservicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee
Tier-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English Comprehension.
There will be negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer.
Tier-II will include conducting of Paper-I & Paper-II in separate shift(s)/ day(s).
Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts.
Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme
Implementation and Statistical Investigator Grade-II in the office of Registrar General of India (M/o Home Affairs) and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for these Posts.
