Generalist and Specialist

Specialist: IT and Actuarial

For Generalist: A candidate must possess Graduation / Post graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and minimum 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in either of the degrees.

For Specialist:

(a) IT – B. E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology/ MCA from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks in either of the degree examinations for UR/OBC/EWS & 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

In addition to the above minimum education qualifications the following Essentials and Desirable skills are required.

Þ Essential Skills with Supporting Certification – At least in any one of the below-mentioned skills –

1. Software Development
2. Network Administration
3. System Administration
4. Information Security

Þ Desirable Skills – Experience with respective essential skill

(b) Actuarial – Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Actuarial Sciences/ Economics/ Operations Research from a recognized University with a minimum 60% marks in either of the degree examinations for UR/OBC/EWS and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

The candidate must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of 01-12-2024, i.e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-12-1994 and not later than 01-12-2003. (Age relaxation as per rules)

2 phases – Online Examination & Interview
