Centralized employment notice notification for non-technical popular categories (graduate) posts.

Online applications are invited by RRBs from eligible Indian Nationals for the posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories i.e.

  • Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor
  • Junior Account Assistant Cum Typist
  • Station Master
  • Goods Train Manager
  • Senior Clerk Cum Typist.

Minimum Essential Qualification

Degree from recognized University or its equivalent. (Typing proficiency in English / Hindi on Computer is essential for ‘Typist’ posts.

Selection Procedure for RRB NTPC Exams

:- The recruitment process shall involve 2 Stages of Computer Based Test, Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable) and Document Verification/Medical Examination.

There shall be mainly two stages – Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Computer-based Aptitude Test (CBAT)/ Typing Skill Test (TST) wherever applicable.

  • Computer-based Aptitude Test for Station Master and
  • Typing Skill Test for Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist.
  • For Goods Train Manager, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, there shall be two stage CBTs followed by document verification and medical examination.

Stage III – Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) – Only for Station Master post

The candidates need to secure a minimum T-Score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify. This applies to all candidates irrespective of community or category.

Candidates will have to qualify in each of the test batteries of CBAT for consideration for the post of SM. The CBAT shall have question-and-answer options only in English and Hindi. There shall be no negative marking in CBAT. The SM merit list will be drawn only from amongst the candidates qualifying in the CBAT, with 70% weightage for the marks obtained in the 2nd Stage CBT and 30% weightage for the marks obtained in CBAT.

Stage III – Typing Skill Test (TST) – For the posts of Senior Clerk cum Typist, and Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist.

The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on a Personal Computer only without editing tools and a spell check facility.

Stage IV – Document Verification/Medical Examination

What is the closing date for submission of Application for NTPC Graduate Exam CEN No. 05/2024 ?

The closing date for submission of application including payment of fee is 15-10-2024 (23:59 hours).

Can I apply multiple applications to same RRB ?

No, you should not. Multiple applications to same RRB will result in the rejection of all applications and will lead to debarment from all future examinations of RRB and RRC.
