RBI Grade B Notification 2024 out and Registration Open by 16 August

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced recruitment for 94 Officer positions across three specialisations: Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)-General, Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR, and Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM. Aspiring candidates can apply online through the official website by August 16, 2024.

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)-General (66 Posts): This category caters to graduates with a well-rounded skillset.

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR (21 Posts): DEPR stands for Department of Economic Research. Master’s degree holders with a focus on economics or related fields are likely strong candidates.

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM (7 Posts): DSIM refers to Department of Statistical Methods. A Master’s degree in statistics or mathematics is likely preferred for these roles.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: Between 21 and 30 years old as of July 1, 2024 (relaxation for reserved categories).

Education: Minimum qualification is a Bachelor’s degree for General post and Master’s degree for DEPR and DSIM posts. Refer to the notification for specific details.

SBI SPECIALIST CADRE OFFICERS RECRUITMENT ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS

Selection Procedure

The selection will be based on shortlisting and interview-cum-CTC negotiations.
❖ Shortlisting: Mere fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in candidate for being called for interview. The shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, adequatenumber of candidates, as decided by the Bank, will be shortlisted for interview. The decision of the Bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
❖ Interview-cum-CTC Negotiation: Interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in interview will be decided by the Bank. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. CTC Negotiation will be done one-by-one at the time of Interview, with the candidates.
❖ Merit list: Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interview only. In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit list
