The result of SBI Clerk 2016 preliminary exam has been declared by State Bank of India (SBI) on June 17. The SBI Clerk result 2016 for main exam will be declared in the month of July 2016, based on which candidates will be called for interview round (subject to Govt approval) for recruitment to 19575 vacancies in clerical cadre of the Bank. SBI Clerk 2016 result has been declared only for those candidates who have scored qualifying marks in the online exam.
As per the SBI Clerk 2016 qualifying criteria, only those candidates who have scored passing marks in each paper of recruitment exam has been declared qualified for appearing in the SBI Clerk 2016 mains exam. The passing marks of SBI Clerk has been decided by the examination authority, State Bank of India based on the number of candidates appeared in the exam and difficulty level of the questions. The bank has shortlisted approximately 4,00,000 candidates for SBI Clerk mains exam 2016, which is around 20 times of the total vacancies for the mains exam.
