ISRO Recruitment 2026

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India, has released the ISRO Recruitment 2026 Notification for 242 vacancies of Assistant, Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Junior Personal Assistant (JPA), and Stenographer posts under the Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB). Eligible graduates can apply online through the official ISRO website from 27 July 2026 to 16 August 2026.

Educational Qualification

Assistant / Upper Division Clerk (UDC)

• Graduation from a recognized university.
• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Computer proficiency required.

Junior Personal Assistant (JPA)

• Graduation from a recognized university.
• English Stenography skills.
• Typing proficiency as prescribed.

Stenographer

• Graduation from a recognized university.
• Shorthand and typing proficiency.

Age Limit

As on the closing date of application:

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 28 Years

Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government rules.

The recruitment process consists of:

Stage 1: Written Examination

Stage 2: Skill Test

For JPA and Stenographer posts, stenography/skill tests will be conducted as prescribed.

ISRO JPA & Stenographer Skill Test

Candidates applying for JPA and Stenographer posts must qualify the stenography skill test in addition to the written examination. Skill test qualifying standards will be notified by ISRO.

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will receive salary under Level 4 of the Pay Matrix.
