SSC CGL Recruitment 2020-21: Apply For 7035 Vacancies in Various Govt Ministries, Other Depts.

SSC CGL Recruitment 2020-21: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a recruitment drive for a total of 7035 vacancies under the SSC CGL 2020-21 Recruitment to fill up various posts of Group B & C in Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of Government of India. The SSC CGL recruitment will be held through the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2020. Candidates will be selected for various ministries of the Union government and other government departments.

There are four levels of examinations for the SSC CGL 2020-21 recruitment. Candidates who are shortlisted in the Tier-1 Exam can appear for the Tier-2 exam, which has four papers, of which Paper 1 and 2 are compulsory

SSC CGL Recruitment 2020-21 Exam Details

SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam is an objective exam held via online mode. The Tier-3 Exam is a descriptive paper in a pen-and-paper mode, whereas Tier-4 exam comprises a set of skill tests required for certain government posts and document verification procedure.

SSC GD Constable Notification 2021: 25,271 Posts

Staff Selection Commission conducts SSC GD Constable exam to recruit General Duty Constables in different forces including BSF, CISF, ITBP and more. SSC will release the SSC GD Constable notification tentatively in July 2021. Earlier SSC GD Constable 2021 Notification was scheduled to release in March and later it was postponed to the first week of May due to the COVID 19 outbreak in the country. However, it has been postponed until further notice as per the latest statement by SSC. As per the SSC exam calendar, the exam was earlier scheduled to be conducted in August 2021. However, the exam has also been postponed until further notice.

Candidates who have passed the class 10th/ matriculation exam are eligible to apply for the posts of SSC GD constable. SSC will select the candidates based on the Computer Based Test, Physical Tests (PSTs and PETs) followed by a medical examination. SSC GD constable will have a salary in the range of Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100.

Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination-2018 Declaration of result

1.The result of CGL (Tier-III) Examination, 2018, was declared by the Commission
on 30.09.2020 for appearing in the Skill Test and Document Verification.

  1. As per the Notice of the Examination, Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and
    Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) are of qualifying nature. CPT consists of 3 modules.
    Module-I is the DEST. Module-II and III of CPT are Spreadsheet (Excel) and
    Generation of Slides (Power Point) respectively and each module i.e. (Module-II and
    Module-III) was of 100 marks. Marks obtained by the candidates in Module-II and
    Module-III were added together for applying cut-off for these two Modules of CPT. Cutoff fixed for Module-I (DEST), Module-II and III of CPT are as under:

However, banks were closed on account of Holi (Holiday) on 29.03.2021. In view of this, candidates are being provided final opportunity to make the payment of fee through Bank Challan at designated Branches of the Bank from 05.04.2021 to 06.04.2021 provided the Challan has been generated by them before 25.03.2021 (23.30 Hours).
