Stenography, or shorthand, is a method of rapid writing using symbols or abbreviations to represent words and phrases. Stenographers use this skill to transcribe speech quickly, often in legal, medical, and business settings, ensuring accurate and efficient documentation of proceedings and communications.

In the government sector, stenographers play a crucial role in transcribing speeches, meetings, and legal proceedings, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
