Applications are invited from eligible candidates for 650 posts of ‘Assistant’ in the Reserve Bank of India, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Bank’. The details of the essential qualification, number of vacancies, age limit and fee structure are given below:-

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized University and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
Knowledge of Reading, Writing and Speaking of the Regional Language of the State / UT against the vacancies for which a candidate wishes to apply, is essential.
AGE LIMIT:
The candidate must be between 20 and 28 years of age as on 01-02-2026, i.e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-02-1998 and not later than 01-02-2006. (Age relaxation as per rules)

- Local Language Proficiency Test
The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the online Main Examination will have to undergo a Language Proficiency Test. The LPT will be conducted in the Official/ Local Language/s of the State concerned. Candidate not proficient in the Official/ Local Language shall be disqualified.
PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS: There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
