Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan(RAA)
  • The government has announced that the Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan will be renamed as APJ Abdul Kalam Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan in memory of the former president
  • Purpose– Motivate children 6-18 yrs engage in Science and Mathematics and Technology
  • Who will develop this concept– Ministry of Human Resource Development
  • Under Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan, the government schools will be mentored by Institutes like IITs/ IIMs/ IISERs and other Central Universities and reputed organisations through innovative programmes, student exchanges, demonstrations, student visits, etc to develop a natural sense of passion towards learning of Science and Maths

Sahaj Scheme
  • Main Aim and Objective Of this Scheme -The on line release of new LPG connections, through the portal mylpg.in to enable customers to register for new LPG connections online, as well as make on line payments for the same.
  • In Starting This Scheme Was Launched In 12 Cities
Pahal Scheme
  •  Direct LPG Cash Subsidy Transfer to Consumer Account
  • Once consumer join the scheme he will get LPG cylinder at market price and will receive LPG subsidy in his bank account .
  • If the LPG consumers who do not wish to avail the LPG subsidy for LPG cylinders can simply choose to opt out of subsidy

 

National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM)
  • This scheme will organize rural poor into SHG groups and make them capable for self-employment.
  • The idea is to develop better livelihood options for the poor.
