As per CTET exam pattern, Paper 2 consists of Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I & Language II, Mathematics, and Science or Social Studies.  In CTET Paper 2, Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I & Language II are compulsory subjects. However, Mathematics and Science, and Social Studies/Social Science subjects are optional. You have to select either of them.

When and how many times is the CTET exam conducted in a year?

The CTET exam is conducted twice a year in July and December.

How many exam papers are organized in the CTET exam?

There are two Papers in the CTET examination:

  • Paper 1: For Primary Stage (Class I to V)

Any negative markings are there in the CTET exam?

How many times can candidates apply for the CTET exam?

There is no limit on the number of attempts for appearing in the CTET exam.

What if a candidate intends to teach all the classes from 1 to 8 class?

If a candidate intends to teach all the classes from I-VIII, he/she has to appear in both the Papers.

What is the validity period of a CTET qualifying certificate?

arlier, the Certificate of CTET exam was valid for up to 7 years. But the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has granted its approval for the extension of validity of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) Certificate to lifetime.

In case their job profile does not match substantially or is different than the job profile of a Scale –I Generalist officer of Indian Bank, then no increment shall be payable. Decision of the Bank in this regard would be final and binding on all candidates. No representation or correspondence will be entertained by the Bank in this regard.
  • Candidates working with subsidiaries of Scheduled Commercial Bank will not be eligible to for one increment.
  • Prior experience will not be considered for any service seniority.

    Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced recruitment for 94 Officer positions across three specialisations: Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)-General, Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR, and Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM. Aspiring candidates can apply online through the official website by August 16, 2024.

    Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)-General (66 Posts): This category caters to graduates with a well-rounded skillset.

    Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR (21 Posts): DEPR stands for Department of Economic Research. Master’s degree holders with a focus on economics or related fields are likely strong candidates.

    Selection Procedure:

    ii. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each
    wrong answer.
    iii. It will be at the discretion of the bank to conduct the interview or dispense with it.
    iv. Merit list will be drawn State wise and category wise. Candidates qualified in the test will be placed according to their aggregate marks
