Staff Selection Commission (SSC) of service is the best service any public sector. SSC recruit employee higher level public sector e.g. Income Tax Assistant/officer, Home ministry, CAG, high court other central government organization.
Staff Selection Commission conduct two types of common examination:
1) Higher Secondary Level Examination
2) Combined Graduate level Examination
Higher Secondary Examination conduct for the post of junior Assistant/stenographer/defense force and recruitment process is conducted by SSC. The process of recruitments written examination and paper contains Numerical Ability, reasoning, general knowledge (modern and ancient) and English grammar thereafter qualifying written test examination final round documents verification and personal interview.
Combined Graduate level Examination conduct for the post of Senior Assistant/Income Tax office / defense officer and recruitment process is conducted by SSC in two tier.1st Tier process of recruitments written examination paper contains Numerical Ability, reasoning, general knowledge (modern and ancient) and English thereafter qualifying written test examination then you qualified 2nd Tier of examination higher level of Mathematics, English and descriptive paper there after documents verification or personal interview.
Combined Graduate level Examination conduct for the post of Senior Assistant/Income Tax office/defense officer, Inspector of Income Tax and recruitment process is conducted by SSC in two tier. 1st Tier process of recruitment written examination paper contains Numerical Ability, reasoning, general knowledge (modern and ancient) and English thereafter qualifying written test examination then you qualified 2nd Tier of examination higher level of Mathematics, English(All Objective Multiple Choice Type) paper there after documents verification or personal interview.

Scheme of the Examination for Combined Graduate Level Examination:
The Examination will be conducted in three tiers as indicated below:
Tier -I — Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier -II — Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier -III & IV — Letter Writing/Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)
Document Verification: The Commission reserves the right to make changes in the scheme of examination such as conduct of Tier-I and Tier-II examination in computer based mode, treating Tier-I examination as only qualifying etc. 9.2 Interview component has been dispensed with. There will, therefore, be no interview.
As per the calendar published by the commission (which will soon be available on SSC website), the form filling for SSC Combined Graduate Level exam will start from 13th February 2016, while the SSC CGL Tier I exam will be conducted on 8th and 22nd May 2016 (Computer Based Online Exam and ).
